Surface: The sticker will stick the best on clean, dry, smooth and hard surfaces (for example: aluminium, chrome, glass, plastic). Clean the surface before placing the sticker. Studio Haikje is not responsible for damaged surfaces, so be careful on what surface you stick the sticker. The user of these stickers is solely responsible for determining whether the surface where the sticker is going to be placed is suitable for placing the sticker.
Sticker: The sticker consists of 3 layers: 1: The back paper (the chequered back paper) 2: The real sticker 3: The semi-transparent application foil
If multiple decals are on one sheet you can cut them separately and then place them
Rake A rake is a little piece of plastic to rub away the air from under the sticker. If you don't have one you can use a credit card for example.

Lay the sticker on an even surface and rub firm over the application foil especially where the sticker is (so the sticker sticks better to the application foil). Then carefully remove the back paper from the sticker: turn the back paper back and keep it while removing as flat as possible (corner less than 3 degrees). You now have the sticker with the application foil.

Position and place the sticker (with application foil) on the surface where you want to stick the sticker. First rub softly over the application foil and the sticker with the rake, take care of the position. Than rub harder, from the middle through the outside so the air comes from under the sticker.

Now all you have to do is to remove the application foil: First try to remove a little piece of the application foil from the sticker, to look if the sticker stays on the surface. If the sticker comes off from the surface with the application foil stick everything back and rub again over the application foil and the sticker and then try again to remove a little piece of the application foil carefully. If the sticker stays on the surface than carefully take off the application foil (turn the application foil back and keep it while removing as flat as possible (corner less than 3 degrees)), while constant looking if the sticker sticks well at the surface.
Rub the sticker gently to make sure it sticks well.
Cleaning: You can clean the sticker with mild sudsy water (do not rub too hard, especially be carefully with the little corners) and afterwards always dab everything carefully dry.
